I am an ocean gypsy. I <3 shells, nature-inspired prints and contrasting that with chunky boots/jackets when I have to venture into urban life. When I found Acacia a couple of years ago I was obsessed… and still am! because the bikinis are even better than the ones I used to dream up all day. The other day, i was describing a band to my friend and i said they were “surf indie rock” and my friend told me thats how he would describe me lol! i would say my style is definatly laid back but edgy as well, i work in a hair salon so i have to dress up more for work but if im not at the salon i am at the beach (wearing my acacia, duh!) and so basically: i love to live in shorts, skirts, and dresses, and of course bikinis! i also accessorize a ton in rings, and i LOVE hand made jewelry i wear a ton of it from my friends “art-clothing” line. Someone once described my style as Beatnik-Gypsy. I personally describe my style as Hedonistic Mori-girl. I love flowing fabric and bright colors, and anything from the middle east , but i also love french florals and lace. I am pierced and tattooed and have rocked almost every hair color/style known to man! I lived for 6 months in the Pyrenees in a hippie commune with no running water, electricity, etc. Now I have learned to keep one foot in the earth’s world, and one foot in civilization.
